How did your teachers and parents help you achieve this feat?

>>  My school, teachers and my parents occupy the largest share in helping me achieve this feat. Hats off to my teachers who not only explained me each and every topic extensively but also ensured that I understand it well. During the entire session they were always available either in school or through phones to clear our doubts. Even during the prep. leave for board exams, they were available in school to attend to our queries. Thanks to their untiring efforts to acquaint us to every type of question that we could get in the exams ,that I could achieve this feat.

My parents took care of each and every thing I required regarding my studies and my mom very precisely takes care of my health and well being which removes the obstacle of inability to study regularly due to bad health.

On one hand, my parents instilled the confidence in me that I have the ability to do something great in academics and appreciated my achievements. On the other hand, they always expected better than what I did and prevented me from becoming overconfident.

Well-being is a must for success. How did you take care of your physical and mental well-being during the hectic exam season?

>>  It’s a well known fact that healthy food is must for physical well being. For mental well being during the hectic exam season , one must never ever worry about the results or marks that one will get, one must concentrate upon studying and completing the syllabus in time because once you have completed studying your entire syllabus then there is no reason left to worry about your performance in exam.

What are some good tips on how to be organized and focused?

>>  To be organised and focussed one should set targets for oneself on daily basis . Every day one should prepare a list of topics that one has to study on that particular day and solemnly promise to oneself not to rest till he or she has not completed that list . One should take short breaks while studying because that keeps you relaxed, energetic and develops interest in studying. One should not only or frequently study those subjects that one likes, one should devote equal time to every subject because that is where the problem lies. Many a times a student loses marks in those subjects which he or she doesn’t like. Even devote more time to subjects you dislike.

The one thing you must have to succeed is self-control. Your views?

>>  I completely agree with this statement . One must have self-control to succeed in life. In the case of a student’s life, one should have self-control towards social media, electronic gadgets, television etc. It helps a student to be focused.

Nowadays, social media is a big distraction for students. How did you ensure that it did not negatively affect your performance?

>>  There is no doubt in saying that social media is a big distraction for students. But since I have no interest in social media, it never affected my performance negatively. On the basis of my knowledge, I can only advise my juniors to have self-control and stay away from because taking interest in others’ life may spoil your own life. You can always use social media positively. Through social media you can be in touch with your teachers and classmates and get your doubts cleared as well.

Can you share your success mantra in a few words?

>>  My success mantra is: To succeed in any field prepare daily and sincerely for it, where the word DAILY is of utmost importance because regularity is the path to perfection and ultimately success.

What was your exam game plan? Any study strategies you would like to share with your juniors?

>>  One or two months before the exams are very crucial to prepare for board exams. During this period of time, every student must revise the syllabus of all the subjects as many times as possible. One should also solve at least 8 to 10 previous years’ question papers for each subject before the exams.
