School and parents play a pivotal role in an achiever’s success. How did your teachers and parents help you achieve this feat?
>>   My teachers and my parents have played an instrumental role in my success. Their constant support and motivation kept me going. My teachers always guided me and helped in dealing with the exam pressure. Their past experiences also proved to be of immense importance to me. My parents were always there with me and tried to provide me my comfort zone during the exams so that i don’t get stressed out. They also ensured that i get all the required material on time so that i don’t have any delay in my preparations.

Are you the master of your gadgets or their slave? In this digital age, how do you practise self-control when it comes to gadgets?

>>   When it comes to gadgets, self control becomes very important. Gadgets are one of the major distractions to students. Most of us spend hours on our mobile phones surfing on internet or chatting with friends.so during the exams it becomes very difficult to change this habit of ours. So my way of dealing this problem was to realise my responsibility and to understand the importance of the board exams. When these two thoughts got embedded in my mind i thought twice before using my cell phone because at the end of the day it is your result that would matter.

During the hectic exam season how do you manage your time and give optimum attention to revisions and relaxation?
>>   During the hectic exam season, I ensured that I don’t sit for more than an hour at a stretch. Regular breaks during my studies helped me to refresh and reenergise, also i made it a point to not to pile up any work. This helped me throughout my studies as i could then focus on one topic at a time.i ensured that i study according to my comfort level and my capacity. These methods had helped me a lot in being regular with my studies.

In my interactions with students as an author, I found that some students are overconfident while others are under-confident. But toppers know how to maintain optimum confidence. How did you ensure that you stayed motivated and confident?
>>   To maintain my confidence level never left believing in myself.i always had the belief that whatever efforts i am putting will surely be fruitful. I often interacted with my parents regarding my exams .talking to them kept me motivated. My pre-boards result also boosted my confidence as i had done very well in the pre-boards. Having the competitive spirit also helped me in doing better and better.

Most students confuse studying hard as studying productively. Can you share any tips on improving the quality of studying rather than simply maximizing the quantity of studying?

>>   To have a qualitative study, firstly you need to set your goals and then work according to them. Secondly, one should study for as long as long he/she can focus. Studying without having concentration produces no results.

What are your favourite antidotes to exam stress and anxiety?
>>   During my exams, whenever i took a break i listened to music. I often read the success stories of achievers and their achievements inspired me to be the same. Having the zeal to achieve something good helped me in maintaining a positive mindset. Having a positive mindset helped me in staying calm and stress free.

Multitasking or doing many things at the same time has become a way of life for many teens, and even some tweens. Do you think multitasking works? Or do you believe monotasking is a better way to learn and succeed?
>>   It is my personal belief that monotasking is a better way to learn and succeed.while we focus on one thing we can work with the maximum efficiency and produce best results.it also saves the time and energy of the individual as well. While multitasking, the individual has to focus on more than one tasks at the same time. This decreases his efficiency and often leaves both the tasks incomplete. So despite of putting a lot of efforts, one doesn’t get the desired output.
