Aniket Chaudhri

Aniket Chaudhri, a student of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula aced his CBSE Class 10 Boards with 98.8%. His parents and grandparents are University Academicians having Doctorate Degrees to their credit. In addition to his parents and grandparents, Aniket looks up to his elder brother who is pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. His family members serve as the main torch bearers in his life and always inspire him to rise higher and higher by achieving all the goals and targets that he sets for himself. He has always been a school topper, earlier at DAV Kurukshetra and now at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula. This academically bright youngster has not only aced his board exams but has also performed well at NSTSE (Unified Council), Spell Bee Competition (National Level), Tallentex, Various Science and Maths Oympiads and NTSE (National Talent Search Examination). Besides academics, his interest lies in cricket and badminton. And like a true child prodigy, his hobbies include reading science fiction and participating in various science and maths quizzes. How did your school and parents help you achieve this feat ?

>>  Excellent Teaching and care, repeated tests, examinations and coaching of difficult topics at Bhavan Vidyalya. Constant encouragement and facilities at home.

Students consider physical health as well-being but winners like you know that well-being is a broad concept which includes good brainpower too. Any simple tips you would like to share for boosting the brainpower?

> Have focused attention and uninterrupted approach to the subject and topic at hand.

Thanks to our hectic lifestyles, nowadays most people find it hard to prioritise. But your results show that you surely know how to manage your priorities and create a balance in your life. Can you guide others on the same?

>>  The student life shall carve out the future for him. Therefore the Top Priority should be Studies.

How did you overcome exam related stress and anxiety? What were your stress busters?

>>  Since I study throughout the year, I seldom have Examination Stress and therefore I don’t feel the necessity of Stress Busters.

A common complaint among most students is that they find it hard to concentrate. Any tips on the same?

>>  No alternative to Focused Attention.

Some students are overconfident while others are under-confident. But toppers know how to maintain optimum confidence. How did you ensure that you stayed motivated and confident?

>>  I do not put any effort to do so.

Good memory is vital for success in exams. How did you ensure that you are able to remember and recall what you have studied?

>>  I study, repeat before my parents, revise what is not perfect and again repeat. Besides, repeated tests and examinations-Offline and Online help you a lot.

Achievers tend to lead an organised life. How do you deal with clutter and organise your stuff?

>>  I am not disorganised.

Can you share a few study techniques and tips that you followed?

>>  Concentrate on the work at hand, be regular, focused attention and keep yourself away from distractions.

Any specific things you kept in your mind while taking the exams?

>>  The eye of the fish that Arjun had targeted.
